Tai Chi for Seniors


This book promotes one of the oldest forms of exercise, Tai Chi, through a range of recommended movements that are most helpful to seniors. It also discusses the fundamentals of tai chi practice, as shared by the author, Philip Bonifonte, an expert practitioner and instructor with over 35 years of experience in both tai chi and qi gong. He also holds a PhD in Oriental Medicine.

The exercises provided in the book are low-impact, can be completed standing or seated and are appropriate for varying levels of fitness. By following the simple exercise regimen, seniors can expect less pain from a variety of ailments, such as carpal tunnel syndrome, fibromyalgia and arthritis.
